Tessa Bailey

Tessa Bailey is an American romance novelist from Carlsbad, California, who began publishing in 2013 with digital-first contemporary romance and built a substantial backlist — more than forty novels — across series including Line of Duty, Big Shots, and Hot and Hammered. Her breakout came when It Happened One Summer (2021) and its companion Hook, Line, and Sinker (2022), set in the fishing town of Westport, Washington, became BookTok phenomena and New York Times bestsellers, bringing her signature blend of small-town settings, blue-collar heroes, and high-heat romance to a mainstream audience.
