Everything sent here is stored on this site, read by a person, and answered with a reference number you can quote. No mailbox to bounce, no inbox to lose you.
Every message sent from this page is stored on the site and read by a person. You get a reference number, and so do we, which means neither of us has to wonder whether it arrived.
We publish no email address anywhere on this site, and that is deliberate. A mailbox can bounce quietly, fill with scraped spam, or sit unread while someone waits on an answer they are entitled to. A form we can see is more use to you than an address we cannot vouch for.
Choose the closest subject on the form and the message routes accordingly.
Your data, or erasure. Access, correction, deletion — these carry a statutory clock and go to the top of the pile. Most of it is self-serve now: you can remove any shelf row, erase your account’s activity record, or delete your entire account from your profile at any time, without asking us at all.
A correction. If we published something wrong — a fact, a claim you can argue with, a content note we missed — tell us. Corrections are made in public with a note saying what changed, because a correction nobody can see is not a correction.
Request a book. Name it and it enters the measurement queue. The record grows on purpose, and reader requests set part of its direction.
Licensing. Questions about the dataset, the free sample, or the bands published at /licensing/. The published bands are the whole price list, so the answer to “is there a better rate” is already public.
Something broken. A page misbehaving, a button that will not press — it reaches the same desk and gets read.
We keep your name, address and message while the matter is open, and for twelve months after it closes, at which point a scheduled job deletes it. You can ask us to erase it sooner at any time. Nothing you write here is passed to a third party, added to a mailing list, or used to sell you anything.
We do not accept pitches, review copies, placements, or unsolicited manuscripts. The record takes no money and no material from the supply side of books — no author, publisher, or platform can buy a word of it, and asking will not change that. Until 2026 this page pointed to an advertising form and a paid membership; both are retired, the advertising permanently. None of this is meant unkindly; they are the rules the desk keeps so its verdicts stay worth something.
