Lucy Score

Lucy Score is an American novelist from Pennsylvania who worked as a journalist and copywriter before turning to fiction. She self-published prolifically from 2016 onward, building a catalogue of small-town romance and romantic comedy that made her a mainstay of Kindle Unlimited before mainstream recognition arrived: Things We Never Got Over (2022), first in the Knockemout series, became a BookTok-driven phenomenon, spent more than a year on the New York Times list, and led to a major print deal with Bloom Books. The series continued with Things We Hide from the Light (2023) and Things We Left Behind (2023), and her wider backlist — including the Benevolence and Blue Moon series — moved into trade print editions. She writes full-time with her husband managing the business, and remains among the best-selling romance authors in the United States.
