Just for the Summer

Two strangers believe they share the same romantic curse: everyone they date finds lasting love immediately after the breakup. They design an experiment that sounds efficient. Date each other for one summer, separate on schedule, and let the supposed pattern deliver better partners afterward. The plan brings a traveling nurse to a rented cottage on a private island in lake country, where a temporary arrangement begins acquiring permanent complications. Family demands arrive on both sides, including a difficult parent and unexpected responsibility for younger siblings.
